Our Story

OUR STORY

01 1996
02 2018

It all started with a request to design and develop a lifting device to undeck mine shovels so that maintenance could be performed quickly and safely.

We rose to this challenge and introduced the MEGALIFTER to the mining world, the first and only patented heavy lift system made to separate an open pit shovel. A focus on safety and performance has continued as we’ve launched new generations of the MEGALIFTER and other accessories.

In 2018, MEGATRACTION was acquired by Groupe M7.

Today, MEGATRACTION can address any mining shovel lifting need on any electric shovel or hydraulic excavator with the same focus on safety, so you can focus on production.
